Unfortunately I was in a hurry to get changed after work and forgot to take a photo. This outfit was a pencil black skirt with a wrap grey top. Stockings and my trust snake skin shoe. I had never really worn the top with a skirt before and thought this was a dressy look for work. Since this week was a little colder I decided to go with a stocking option. I really liked this outfit and know that I could certainly wear it to work more often.
Work is a good way of me avoiding the shops or thinking about what to buy. Every night it makes me think what I could find or what combination is going to be a winner for the next day.
I finally came clean with work as to the blog I am writing. Not that I am going to do it at work but it's the whole commitment thing I am then locked into. As you work so closely with others they tend to be the ones that will manipulate to eating the extra piece of chocolate or give you grief if you are on a diet and you break it(I still hide the McDonalds wrappers from my boss). These are the people who will monitor you and ask how it is going. So I know that by telling them I have seriously locked myself into this so called contract.
Some would say if you told your husband he would be the one on your back. Not likely in this household. My husband would be the one that wouldn't even notice if it was new, never worn, old (I class old as older than 1 month few weeks), or ancient (older than a year). I could wear the same thing every day and seriously he wouldn't notice. I am the type of female shopper that would buy things and quickly get them into the wardrobe as if they have been there all along. Either stupid or he doesn't even bother asking. I would actually give him the benefit of the doubt and say he isn't that stupid. Just doesn't bother going there.... good man. He must notice that the shoe boxes which used to take up one side of the wardrobe now takes up two. If not, I think he needs his eyes checked. My husbands side to the wardrobe has gone from 50/50 now to 75/25. As if he needs any more than 10%, I think I am being generous.
I could sit here all day writing about my shopping tactics but then what am I going to keep for the rest of the challenge and my daily update.
