Day 3 - Changing Habits

Apparently it takes around 21 days to change a habit or form a new habit. So in other words I have 18 days to go until I get the hang of it. Shopping challenge, I am doing ok, finding clothes each day to wear, not bad. But blogging, hopeless. Where do people find the time these days to do so much. I didn't get a chance to blog last night. Why? Because I had an unhappy guy (and that wasn't my husband) when I got home from work and he needed all my attention. Therefore I left my laptop in the car. I did ask my husband to go and get my things from the car however they were still there this morning. Clearly I must not have asked loud enough for him to hear me. Hence the reason I am blogging now for the day before. Two blogs in one day.. ouch.


Here is the debrief on Day 3 of my wardrobe challenge. I did find some clothes the night before and put them out so I wouldn't be running around screaming "what to wear" come the morning. And to my surprise I was able to find some clothes that I haven't worn for ages (very impressed with myself). These pants are pre pregnancy and the top is very old so I am certainly finding things that are not just on the surface. I do also sway towards wearing black, and the only black in this outfit was my belt. I did resort to the same shoes as Day 1. They are fantastic for work, look great and above all very comfortable.


So how is the non shopping part of the challenge going? Well great so far. But that is because I have been pretty busy and have worked two days this week. Next week I am back to three days of work which will keep me out of the shops however it is the weekend that will test me. So I guess stay tuned.
