Day 2 - Over thinking

Well you would think that from day 1 I would have learnt my lesson about being prepared and taking time to try and find outfits to wear. Well you guessed wrong. This morning was my day off so I had sometime to try and find an outfit and for the next 60 days I won't wear again. It has also started to warm up and I wanted to wear something that was easy and comfortable. Amongst all that is in my wardrobe I could only come up with a maxi skirt and singlet tee. It doesn't sound that bad but when you look at the past two days I am certainly not winning any points in the fashion stakes. This outfit was teamed with a pair of gold gladiator sandals, which was possibly the better part of the outfit.

By the end of the day when I was happy to get out of my clothes i thought what am i doing wrong. I have a whole wardrobe full of clothes and seriously that is all I could come up with so I have concluded to the thought that I am over thinking this whole process and not letting it come naturally. I really do need to go through my wardrobe and find clothes properly (one of the main points of this whole challenge). Not just the first thing that pops up. I also know that my big downfall is as I mentioned yesterday - the accessories. I think an outfit can be fixed and appear put together with the right accessories. As you can see by the picture, this didn't happen.
My goal for tomorrow is to be prepared. Which is what I am going to do now. I am back at work tomorrow so I think I will find something tonight so I am not in a mad rush in the morning.
